About Me

I am an architect and senior researcher in the field of housing. I studied architecture at the Bauhaus University Weimar and Virginia Tech in the USA. For nine years I worked as a project manager in planning with a focus on social housing. As a doctoral student at the Graz University of Technology, I researched the housing of the Modell Steiermark as a historical review and empirical social research on the subject of housing satisfaction. I was Marshall Plan scholarship holder and received a post-doctoral research fellowship from Stanford University. My work focuses on housing research with a particular interest in current and future housing needs in urban and rural regions. By integrating participative methods into the planning process, a high level of satisfaction and acceptance, as well as a strong social integration within the residents, can be achieved.
